The PKH is the latest member of a style of machine guns dating back to the 1950s. The PKH has seen many small improvements over its predecessors, worked in from combat experience in the early 2000s.
Ironically, the militaries of nations that were to become the Western Coalition recommended to the Russian arms manufacturers certain improvements to their existing weapons, owing to their experience fighting alongside the armies of Iraq and Afghanistan - improvements that formed the basis of the PKH.
Thus, Western Coalition forces here face a weapon improved by their own weapons technologists.
As with its Western Coalition counterpart, the MAG021, the PKH is an extremely reliable and rugged weapon. However, it is also somewhat less expensive to manufacture. The PKH sports a low-power scope.

Overview[]
The PKH is rightly considered the cheaper, knock-off version of the Western Coalition MAG021 Light Machine Gun, since they are both nearly the same in role, performance, and ability, with the PKH being cheaper to make and produce.
However, the PKH is still just as lethal as its Western counterpart; it is most accurate at short- to medium-ranges, and is capable of downing enemies after several direct hits in key areas such as the head or torso.
Although the PKH is by no means inaccurate, it is still wiser to aim for the center of mass instead of the head with it, due to the excessive recoil of firing in fully-automatic mode. By aiming for the torso, the user is more likely to hit the head because of the recoil forcing the user's aim upwards.
