The Western Coalition standard demolition charge, the M177 is actually a standard demolition kit for use in conventional demolition operations.

During combat, though, it is ready-configured to serve as a remotely activated 'satchel' charge.

One side of the M177 has a powerful electrically-activated magnetic plate (hidden within the satchel), which is activated once the fuse is set. This plate converts the demo charge into a limpet mine for use against armored vehicles.
